PLAN DETAILS—FAMILY
Members of DefenseCoverage.com, who are in good standing and have paid the Initiation Fee of $99.99 and are current on their monthly fee of $29.99, for a minimum of thirty (30) days, are able to retain our cutting edge, high quality legal defense team.
Under the Family Plan, DefenseCoverage.com will provide the following services to a spouse/domestic partner and children ages 16-18:
If the Member receive a ordinance violation or civil infraction in the State of Michigan, the Member contacts us, provides details of the infraction(s), executes our Retainer Agreement, and pays $5.00. Our highly qualified, experienced attorneys will then file an appearance in the appropriate court and represent the Member in any and all court proceedings. Our attorneys will work to achieve what, in their professional opinion, is the best possible resolution of the matter. Typically, these matters are resolved through the payment of fines and court costs, which are the responsibility of the Member. This benefit is limited to two (2) occurrences per year, calculated from the date of membership.
If the Member is charged with a Misdemeanor offense in the State of Michigan, the Member contacts us, provides details of the Misdemeanor charge(s), executes our Retainer Agreement and pays $10.00. Our highly qualified, experienced attorneys will then file an appearance in the appropriate court and represent the Member in any and all court proceedings, up to an including trial. Our attorneys will work, to achieve what, in their professional opinion, is the best possible resolution of the matter. Should the Member choose to go to trial all legal fees are included. Any fines, court costs or costs incurred in preparing the defense, including discovery costs, are the responsibility of the Member. This benefit is limited to one (1) occurrence per year, calculated from the date of membership.
If the Member is charged with a Felony offense in the State of Michigan, the Member contacts us, provides details of the Felony charge(s), executes our Retainer Agreement and pays $20.00. Our highly qualified, experienced attorneys will then file an appearance in the appropriate court and represent the Member in any and all court proceedings, up to an including trial. Our attorneys will work, to achieve what, in their professional opinion, is the best possible resolution of the matter. Should the Member choose to go to trial all legal fees are included. Any fines, court costs or costs incurred in preparing the defense, including discovery costs, are the responsibility of the Member. This benefit is limited to one (1) occurrence per year, calculated from the date of membership.
WHAT IS COVERED
Members in good standing will received 100% coverage of all legal fees for ordinance violations, civil infractions, misdemeanors and felonies that occur in the State of Michigan, up to and including trial.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
- Fines imposed by the Court
- Court Costs.
- Restitution.
- Costs for Discovery.
- Expert witnesses, if required.
- Any incident that occurs prior to the Membership Date and the first thirty (30) days after joining DefenseCoverage.com.
- Probation violations (Representation available to DefenseCoverage.com Members at discounted hourly rate).
- Federal charges (Representation available to DefenseCoverage.com Members at discounted hourly rate).
- Juvenile court mattes.
- Non-criminal matters (Representation available to DefenseCoverage.com Members at discounted hourly rate).

Refund and Cancellation Policy
Cancel your monthly subscription at any time. Members who cancel within three (3) days of initially joining will receive a full refund of their Initiation Fee. After three (3) days of initially joining the Initiation Fee is non-refundable.
